Ensure that the installer gives a written specification of the work to be done since this is a valuable document should there be reason to complain that the finished job does not conform.
If there's any doubt to the meaning/understanding of a specification, telephone 0845 450 4898 when a qualified person will give any necessary explanation or suggest how best any clarification is gained from the installer and, if necessary, the specification is modified by the installer.
